no...but you set the parameters at only a single season when evaluating

i don't like to cut to just one year just like you don't evaluate teams based on one game

recent form fallacy much

The Cardinals are coming
tra-la tra-la

Sorry to disappoint you. The Cards won't remain the worst world series champ in history for long. The DBacks are breaking that mark this fall.

[/ QUOTE ]

Or, the way things are going in the NL Central, the Cards just might outdo themselves.

blah blah blah

worst world series champ if you take an extremely myopic view of things

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, like looking at just "who is good at baseball" instead of things like "heart", "quantity of super midgets", "quantity of first basemen already in decline phase since they lie about their age", or "players who improve from a .600 OPS in rookie ball to a .900 OPS in MLB". I think they lead baseball in all of these cats.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, the bitterness is strong in this one. Cubs fan?

I don't see what you get out of trying to prove they're not good at baseball AFTER they won a World Series. That just seems to be an argument where anyone who wishes to argue the contrary just wouldn't care about

Good enough to win a World Series. To paraphrase a horrible late nineties cliche: "do not hate the player, hate the game."

And you're a fat-ass with big league dreams that have a 0% chance of ever coming true because you are a terrible pitcher. Are we through now?
