How do you like this betting line?
From a live 1/2NL game I sat in on today. Anyone hestitant about playing live should be inspired:
Player sits to my left and buys in for $200. By the time this hand comes up, he's got around $180. Our hero is in the small blind. There is a raise to $20, a call, a reraise to $60. Our hero looks at Jd4d and calls. Original raiser calls. 1 fold. Three to the flop. The pot is $200. Flop is Ad9c5d. Our hero leads out for $10. Next player looks miffed, then calls. Player who reraised flop makes it $50. Our hero calls. Miffed player folds. Pot is $310 Turn is a 8s. Our hero checks his stack. He has a little over $70 left. He bets $45 and is called. River is 4s. Our hero pushes his remaining $26 and is called by KK. Our hero rebuys, requests a table change. |

Re: How do you like this betting line?
I saw it with my own eyes. The shame of it is that he probably would have taken down the pot if he pushed the flop. Then he could have proudly tabled his J4.
