District B-13 and Parkour
this style seems to be showing up in all kinds of films... 007, the new Die hard, Bourne Ultimatium.... but this is the original.... it's kind of cool.
If you buy the DVD, don't watch the English dubbed version. It sucks. Read the sub-titles. BTW... these guys swear this is all real, not ropes, stunt fall-spots, or cut-aways. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KBvCrSjpx9I"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KBvCrSjpx9I" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> http://youtube.com/watch?v=G2_p8JJHRTA |

Some of these guys do have backgrounds in gymnastics, and I think Belle did too.

Re: District B-13 and Parkour
yeah... these guys are ridiculously athletic... and I like District B-13 cause it was obviously a platform just to show these guys off... which is cool. I like seeing guys get paid for their skills.
However, it is getting a little played out finding its way into every summer blockbuster. |

Re: District B-13 and Parkour
Someone will have to explain this to me.
You are villain. You are chasing hero down a a corridor, and hero decides to jump right out the window on like the 15th floor. YOU DECIDE TO JUMP OUT RIGHT AFTER HIM. How does the thought process behind this work? |
