Re: Braindead bluff ever?100PLO vs easy AA
I'm not a fan of risking $44 to win $22 when you have BB left to act. With no draws at all you need them both to fold almost 2/3 of the time just to break even.
Yuck. |

i thought i was playing 1v1 lol what about we play 1v1 with same scenario? [/ QUOTE ] Pure bluffs are always better against a single opponent. It's good if you think he'll fold more than 2/3 of the time. Without a better read, it's hard to say but I lean towards thinking that most villains won't fold that often since a high pair suited in diamonds will be pretty common hands. |

you should probably start paying attention to how many
people are in the pot. |

Re: Braindead bluff ever?100PLO vs easy AA
I don't know how you get "easy AA" from someone open-raising in the hijack. A lot of players would play 4567 or 4678 like this. And even if he does have AA, he could easily call down with A4. Even HU, you'd need a really specific read to make this profitable. Maybe if you'd played 5,000 hands with him and you were absolutely sure that he only raises high cards from that position, it might be worth it coming over the top. Usually this is a pretty big spew though.

Re: Braindead bluff ever?100PLO vs easy AA
if hes a good player he has nothing and this bluff is fine. Pretty hard for him to continue with bare overpair here. Prob has a fd along with it if hes tight and doesnt cbet every flop though, and hell never fold that. Basically, if hes good and doesnt cbet every time hes pfr this is bad. if he is bad and does cbet every time, this is good.
