Hotels in Paris
Note: I posted this in travel, but there hasn't been a post/view in 15 minutes (not just my post - pretty much anything). I want to book tonight/tomorrow, so I'm hoping to get a good discussion here.
I'm staying in Paris for 4 nights in October and am looking for hotel recommendations. I'm thinking of staying in Marais as it appears to have lots of good restaurants, shops, cafes, nightlife, etc. This is more important to me than proximity to the big tourist attractions (which I plan to spend no more than a day seeing). If anyone knows of a good hotel in Marais, or any from other areas of the city (I'm open), it would be appreciated. I would like to spend a maximum of $300 USD per night, and like trendy/modern as opposed to where my parents would stay. Lastly, I did an OOT search b/c I remember a good Paris thread in the past 6 months. Unfortunately, the city shares the name with a certain socialite which made the search excrutiatingly painful and fruitless. |

Re: Hotels in Paris
The K+K Hotel Cayré at 4 Boulevard Raspail is very nice, should be within your price range, and is in a great location (St. Germain basically)
it's not really trendy, but it is modern. |

Should cut through some of that clutter if this thread doesn't help. |

Re: Hotels in Paris
I didn't know about the exclusion option, but none of the threads mentioned her last name. It might work if I exclude "jail", "prison" or "skank".
