200NL - I hit the set!
Villain is 40/20 and I've been raising a lot at this table but he has been playing conservative against me, not taking advance of situations for bluffing. What would you do on river? Turn? Just call river. His turn seems like a blocking bet though a little big. You cant eliminate J-10 from his range.

Re: 200NL - I hit the set!
whoa, raise the turn man. and yea, no point in raising on the river. worse hands (other than KQ) can't stand a raise anyways.

Re: 200NL - I hit the set!
considering your read i might just call here. i doubt he limped 66, def. not 99. i put him on 78 for a straight or a [censored] two pair, with a small chance of having air, actually with your read he'd be retarded to bet 80 on the river with air. he's raising kq pf too so i'd probably call and not be suprised to see a straight.

Re: 200NL - I hit the set!
raising the turn to 90 should set up nicely for a river shove. he may insta-fold sometimes, but it's the best way to get his stack when he has something.

Re: 200NL - I hit the set!
River's a call. If we shove, he calls with like Q9+, and there are fewer combos of Q9/KQ in his range than other hands that make sense for him to have like 78/JT... sometimes 66/99.

Re: 200NL - I hit the set!
as played, just call river.
villain could show 87 for a straight. 80 bet on the river looks like a valuebet to me. IF you dont give him credit for a straight on the turn you should RAISE. |
