Over 70 years you're going to go through AT LEAST two management teams and probably closer to five. At some point you have to believe that the decisions made by whoever founded the company (what to buy, who to hire) are totally irrelevant to its performance today, right?

By the way, I don't know anything about any managed funds. How many have beat the market for 70 years by any percentage?

What i mean is, there are managers with 10 and 15 year track records who have destroyed the market through good markets and bad and outperformed in each. Thats what you want

How he can be so incredibly bullish on ATI (still) while simultaneously bearish on TIE is beyond me.

I hope the ATI board is taking good care of him.
