Using HDTV as Computer Monitor?
I am considering buying a 32inch LCD hdtv. The hdtv I am looking at is 720p, has 3000:1 contrast ratio, and 1366x768 resolution. I was wondering how well this would work as a computer monitor? I am buying an hdtv from onecall.com, so if you have any specific suggestions about hdtvs from there let me know. Thanks.

Re: Using HDTV as Computer Monitor?
Does is have a DVI connector? What are you going to use it for? If you plan on playing poker on this contraption, I hope you don't plan on playing more than 4 tables because that's going to be it at that resolution.

It works but it will look terrible. The pixels are huge.

Re: Using HDTV as Computer Monitor?
It's actually not bad but you can't sit really close.
Edit: I wouldn't advise using this as your primary monitor though unless your viewing distance is correct and it also depends on what you use your computer for. This is NOT a similar alternative to say, a 2560x1600 30" monitor. |
