Get a telescope and use it on my balcony at my hotel from the 18th floor? I wouldnt take any pictures.... well I probably wouldnt

there's probably not a written law/rule against it, but if someone cares about you looking into their room you may get a visit from hotel security

different countries would have different laws.
it'd almost certainly be against privacy and anti-stalking laws in australia. it'd be interesting if you were like on the border of one country, and spying into another. |

i recently went on holiday and this was an idea i had to look at girls apartments opposite... make sure your not seen and you can have hours of fun
