200NL - Big pot deep stacked, turn my hand into a bluff on the river?
Villain in this hand is about 16/12/2 and has been playing straightforward postflop. I've also been playing fairly tight, and I probably have a straightforward image as well. So, shove the river and try to push him off an overpair, or not? Also, does anyone play any other street differently?

Re: 200NL - Big pot deep stacked, turn my hand into a bluff on the riv
was your turn bet for protection or as a bluff? I don't think I like it as either. On the river I'd just check, you have good showdown value. Unless you know for sure that he can fold TT-KK then I wouldn't bet.
FWIW I've stopped trying to get players to fold overpairs at these limits. I just don't do it bc it rarely works. |

Re: 200NL - Big pot deep stacked, turn my hand into a bluff on the riv
Turn bet was for protection, since I think that there's a decent chance I'm ahead but there are about a million bad river cards for me. I'm not sure about my bet sizing though.
