Fold river.

Turn I often check like you did because he called on such a dry flop I think he has something that isn't folding just about always.

I bet the turn because i pick up outs. T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] i probably check and call the river like 1/3 times.

Also i probably don't raise A5 here pf against an unknown, just because i like how that plays out better usually.

I think it depends if you have played a few hands with him or not before, I try to remember if they fold or not to a riverbet.
If you check the turn beind, check beind the river, he wont fold a K, won't call with worse(am i right here?), you will probably win at SD.
I would bet the Turn and hope it goes check-check on an UI river..

EDIT: I miss read the river, I fold river, but I still bet the turn and hope to check behind a UI board

disclaimer - just cuz i play and win don't take what i say as correct

but anyway - when I don't raise pf here i find that i can call this river and win more often than the other route. I just find myself making the right decision postflop more and i get a better feel for the player i'm going to be isolating for the next 2-300 hands.

but seriously, that might be wrong for your game.

I think it is. Villains at your stakes will be much more willing to bluff the river if you dont raise preflop. They know that if you raise then you are much more likely to have a hand you will SD a lot.

Villains at small stakes will usually not be that sophisticated.

I am not sure I understand correctly.

I think we agree. My point was that checking preflop has more merit at 10/20+ than 2/4. Since the effect on villains postflop play is far greater.

BAH! I SUCK AT ENGLISH.
