I played it cute, checking it.. in hindsight I think I should have bet $500 or so? How much do I bet on the river here, after my 'cute' play? My range for the villian is QJ and below, Ax spades, or a small pocket pair. |

Re: Extracting maximum chips with Full House
I definitely would bet on turn, prob about 450 hoping to induce a raise. As played I would bet about 600 on this river and he will probably call with any ace, looks like he was on spade draw so maybe he has ace of spades and you will get paid a little. Your play also looks like a busted flush draw so maybe your check on the turn will help you get a little now on the river

Re: Extracting maximum chips with Full House
Depends on what you've been doing. If you've been aggro, bet big. If you know there's no reads on you, about half the pot is perfect.

That turn check is just absolutely awful. He calls you there with like every hand he called a flop bet with.

But he does often enough that you must must must bet. IF he would fold to a bet here, the chance of getting a bet out of him on the river is nonexistant. |

Re: Extracting maximum chips with Full House
i'd also say that this is a clear bet on the turn
if he is on the flush draw it's the only way to get some more chips in the pot if no spade hits on the river |

Re: Extracting maximum chips with Full House
Gotta bet the turn, depending on opponent/read bet or check river. If you put him on the flush draw maybe he'll bet it for you repping that ace. Really depends on opponent.

Re: Extracting maximum chips with Full House
Obviously bet turn, but I think OP knows that.
River, bet size here totally depends on previous play from you and villain. Without any info,I'd probably put out a pot sized bet here.I just think that there's a very good chance he either has air,in which case he'd fold to any size bet, or the A here,so you might as well bet big for maximum value. |

Re: Extracting maximum chips with Full House
Bet like 550 on the turn, get a high spade and other random [censored] to call you
then bet river too |
