Pretty ugly reraise pf IMO.

I'd check the flop a lot here, and see what happens.

Weird I'm not sure if this belongs in HSNL or SSNL.

100 bbs is deeeeeeeeeeeep.

I don't mind the re-raise pf. Don't you think you get shoved by this opp a lot on this board :S.

I don't see how bet/fold is good, I would expect bet/call or bet and if called c/f turn.

against this oppn, out of curiousity, why is bet/call good??? what shoves that we have odds to call given the range?

this board he is more likely to shove weak hands / bluffs and call with stronger hands. His image is on the tighter side of tag and the only hands he shove that beat you here are going to be like AA / KK. He will have to shove pps lower than ten here some of the time aswell as AK (if he just calls it pf) Kt 9Ts etc.

i respect this response, but out of curiosity again, how often are YOU shoving hands like 99 here? wouldn't we be more likely to do this on say a J84 board? QJ4 seems pretty thin no???

and since villain is on the tighter side, shouldn't we be deterred from calling after we bet? seems too likely to be AQ to me...

assume 100 bb to start.

I am asking because my ability to play reraised pots sucks, and I'm trying to figure out why.

Say we have 1k to start and are playing 5-10, we reraise to 110, get aclled, and bet 150, his push is like 750ish more... we have to be right pretty often that its a draw/bluff to call. Given the tight opp... aren't we not a fav lets say more than 25% of the time????

well if he does ck the flop here (he's first...) i must bet the flop, if called i will c/f the turn to this oppn (as described). just not too much upside to KJo in this pot so against a tight player if the c-bet dont work i'm gone, dont really wanna play too big a pot with KJo here.

talking about range of hands against this tight player i think he just calls the rr pf with low pp - 10s against which he may c/f to the c-bet on the flop, if it is AA/KK then i think he might RR pf instead of calling the 400 (although it looks like he just sat down so maybe not...)

pf rr pots where the tighter player just calls and you have position on them is tricky, and here you either show it down if poss or f to his strength
