Onto the hand, I opened AKo on the button to 5 (my usual raise), villain calls in SB, BB folds. Flop QT9r, I cbet 8 into 12 pot, she calls. Turn is 8, checked through. River is A, she checked.

Is there any room for a value bet?

I wouldn't raise to less than $7 preflop. I just check behind on the river.

Yeah, go ahead and bet. You'll never see a better hand take a line like that (almost never) and you will get called by worse Aces so for sure bet something she can call.

it's a little thin, but i would bet here b/c i think a J would lead this river. obv fold to a raise.
