Default 25nl Playing on the worst flop for bottom set there is

No reads on villain.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $32.45
BB: $14.30
UTG: $19.65
Hero (MP): $47.20
CO: $59.25
BTN: $48.10

Preflop: Hero is dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.00, 3 folds, BB calls $0.75

Flop: ($2.10) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.50, BB calls $1.50

Turn: ($5.10) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($5.10) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $12.00

Preflop standard. Flop standard cbet, even though the board is terrible. I still have outs.

Turn isn't too much better for me. I check behind b/c I really don't want to get c/red here; I prefer getting a free shot at hitting my FH.

River is great for me, I'm convinced I have him beat. He has ~12 behind and I figure I might as well just push everything in b/c I think that any hand he will call a small bet with, he will also call an AI with, due both to his stack size and the board.

Does anybody bet the turn here?
Does anyone bet less on the river (my $12 bet would put him AI)?

You gotta bet the flop here. Turn check is fine. River overbet is bad because it's likely he has nothing worthy over a 2/3 bet and you over 2x pot it???

1) I did bet the flop.

2) What range do you think calls a 2/3 PSB here that Villain will not stack off with?

1)for some reason I read this..."Does anybody bet the turn here?" as flop, I have no idea why.

2)a ten, an 8, maybe a stubborn 9.

True, but the stuff that IS worthy of a 2/3 bet here will also appear worthy of the 2x pot shove--OP's hand is fairly disguised.

Bet this flop, even if you're behind you want more money in the middle in case you hit your awesome FH draw. Doesn't look like he has much on the river, a smaller bet might get called (or do something crazy like going AI)

I thought he'd call with any flush, any straight, any 2p, any boat (not likely he has one).

I didn't think he'd call any bet on the river w/ an A8 type hand. The board is just too scary.

I didn't see any hands that would call off $3 from his $11.80 stack that would NOT call off the entire stack.

In other words, I thought he'd either call off all his money or fold, so I put him all in.
