Default Party 50NL - flopped royal flush draw, turned str8.

Villain is 13/7/3 over about 150 hands. I have only sat for a few orbits, playing about 29/23/2.8.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($53.39)
UTG ($20)
MP ($59.70)
Button ($36.01)
SB ($153.35)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.25, MP calls $2.

Flop: ($5.25) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $3.5, MP raises to $12, Hero calls $8.50.

Turn: ($29.25) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $12, Hero ???

My thinking when I called the flop raise was that a made full would not raise such a drawy board, but would rather let straights and flushes have a chance to catch. Given that thinking, I had villain on a range of aq, kq, q10, q9. Whats my line when I hit the straight? Comments on all streets welcomed.

QQ/KK/AA/JJ would open raise instead of limping, hands that would limp here would be 22-99/KQs/QJs

this sucks because his bet on the turn makes me think hes trying to valuebet. the bet is just so weak that i think youre kinda stuck in making a stubborn call and re-evaluating river.

Re-evaluate what? That we very well may be drawing to 1 out?

no no no

his river bet is gonna make his hand very clear. if he 3/4s to full pots id fold but if hes gonna make another weakish bet id think its KQ or a badly misplayed AQ.

Well, I think you gotta at least call. You can't throw away a chance at a royal, getting over 3:1, when you could already have the best hand.

Anyway, though, once we take preflop into account, Villain's hand looks more like QJs than anything else, but that's just two combos. KQo is 4 combos, so that's a good sign, but then QTs (2 combos) is also a concern, and, jeez, I don't really know what range to give Villain. His open-limp from the CO surprises me a little, and whatever he limped with, he liked it enough to play versus a standard raise (of course, he may think you're a LAG, though).

Anyway, I think I would call with the plan of making another decision on the river.
