wolf, I don't think it matters that much waht you do here. [/ QUOTE ] Amen. You flopped the nuts (w/ a flush redraw to boot)! You can't do much wrong here. The thing is, you didn't really describe how YOU have been playing or what YOUR image is. If you've been pounding/raising flops w/ your draws etc., then pound/raise the hell out of this flop. But if a huge raise signals to the table "he has a monster" then obviously smooth calling has merits. That being said, this deep, it can't hurt to just get A LOT of money in as fast as possible, and just hope someone plays back at you. |

[/ QUOTE ] stacks arent deep enough to fold out any boat here, i dont think. at least not once the pot is that big after the flop action. maybe if we had 10k or more behind, but even then its kind of a tough spot for such a play. |

yes, I like a shove on the flop (but obviously you cant just do it with the nuts). the nit must have a real hand, so hopefully he'll come, and the other guy might have a set which he might find hard to fold.

With top set, everyone puts you on middle set. Or a combo draw. No way he folds top set here. It's the old "I'm probably ahead, and if I'm not, I have outs" routine.
