How can you checkraise from the button?

Why would you raise if he has 53 or a bluff?

[/ QUOTE ]

Why would he make this post if his range was 5-3 bluff?

Can you give a reason for a re-raise? I think it's a pretty clear call, and I'd really like to know why you'd contemplate re-popping. Really, just curious...

Yeah I dont see how there's any value in a re-raise.

ok since everyone likes a call - are there any non-pairing rivers that you would raise a pot sized bet from villian

also if you do get full on river, and raise a river lead, we almost have to fold to a shove right?

I prefer to raise here to around $13k and see how he reacts.
if you do call, I think I'd want a mid-ish card to come off. Either he's defending a blind or he had something of a hand PF with high cards. I wouldn't be too scared if a 5 or 3 peeled either.

I think stack sizes are too screwey for you to raise on the river. After you call a pot-sized lead, there will be about 27 in the pot and you'll have 36ish behind and I doubt any good-sized raise would get called by a worse hand.

Maybe if there was the flush draw on the turn and the river put up another broadway you could either raise small to get value from top 2 or push and turn your hand into a bluff.
