Re: 97s hits trips on 993 board and I dont like my play
I was talking to DanJ. about this on AIM and we came to the conclusion that after he calls my flop 3bet his range CRUSHES mine. Any more thoughts on this?
If we flat call his minraise on the flop, whats our plan for the turn/river? |

As I said above, play it WA/WB, there's no real reason to bet again unless you have a read that Villain is a huge donk. Call small bets, and if somebody shoves then you have a decision to make. |

The point that I made pretty clear was that after he calls our flop 3bet we are crushed. So then I suggested an alternate line, to CALL the flop min riase. Which brings us back to the question I asked. Whats our plan for the rest of the hand if we do in fact call the flop? |

[/ QUOTE ] i think its possible for him to call the flop light. if he does he'll probably fold the turn to alot of action when behind he has 2 outs or less and you have between 3-12 outs in the hh you are betting the turn my alternate line is to get involved with utg and practice some pot control |

looks fine. I bet 60 on turn. If you are beaten so be it if not try to get some more $$ from CO.

Re: 97s hits trips on 993 board and I dont like my play
It's party poker, cutoff didn't even buy in full. I see no other way to play this better, and this is played fine. People always need to remember that random players are presumed donks, until proven innocent. I valueshove this all day every day, and expect to get looked up by random pocket pairs, all the time.
