Finns have much more in common with Estonian people or even Hungarian than they have with people from Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Listen a bit to how they speak and it should be quite obvious.

well, im a finn and my mother tongue is swedish.. and i have no proplem being categorized with the swedes.. but i am a finn..

In the Finnish language "Scandinavian" is a synonym of "Swedish" which is a synonym of "gay". Nobody in Finland thinks himself as Scandinavian. Unfortunately Finland used to be part of Sweden for hundreds of years and because of this many people in Sweden think Finland is part of Scandinavia.

The really funny thing is that e.g. in Germany when they speak of Scandinavia they often include Finland and exclude Denmark. This pisses Danish people off to no end. Unlike the Finnish they would very much like to be thouhgt of as Scandinavians.
