Bluff turned TP against Reg
Villain is a tag reg who probably gets to too many showdowns. He runs 20/14 pre flop over 630 hands. He seems to semi tilt and likes the button steal.
I run about 20/12 around him, and don't make many moves on him without a hand. What do I do on the turn? Lead out? Call or fold if he shoves? Check call down? Hero (SB): $203.00 BB: $125.40 UTG: $334.10 MP: $154.90 CO: $423.75 BTN: $418.75 Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players) 2 folds, CO raises to $7.00, BTN folds, Hero calls $6.00, BB folds Flop: ($16) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, CO bets $12.00, Hero raises to $34.00, CO calls $22.00 Turn: ($84) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero ? |

Re: Bluff turned TP against Reg
depends on what you normally do in this situation when called. If you continue your bluff on the turn you gotta do it with newly made hands. if you usually c/f then c/c and maybe lead river with a blocker. King shouldnt be in his range after he called flop, so give him a chance to rep it with TT-QQ/9x type hands.
If he goes to showdown too much why you trying this in the first place? |

Re: Bluff turned TP against Reg
The main lesson to take away from this hand isn't how to play the turn, it is to fold KJo out of position.
