bet or turn our hand face-up

I don't so much mind this factor in multiway pots with extremely low pot equity and fold equity.

Are you guys betting a blank turn?

I like the idea of c-betting the flop more than checking behind on the flop and then betting a blank turn. Of course I'm paranoid that I'm gonna get looked up by anything when I take that line here on a turned black blank. I personally think in these spots that if I don't bet the flop, I'm probably not putting any more money in UI without a read.

interesting hand, thanks for posting--here's my two cents worth for which no one would pay a penny

i say C-Bet and follow up with a turn bet if called, no heart and checked to you...after all, its a short-handed game, thus less likely other folks hold a made flush by the flop than it would be if it were a full ring game...but one can expect anyone holding a good heart -- say T, J or higher to stick around to the river, but others not holding a heart could drop with some betting pressure--indeed anyone that paired the board you can redraw upon it would seem so your probably have 4-5 clean outs here if behind...

xhad-

You're thinking is right here, IMO. A flop bet not good mainly because we never find out that we have the best hand on the flop after betting unless we improve.

I meant bet a blank turn if you bet the flop. Checking behind and betting a blank turn seems ridiculous to me with any hand and never even crossed my mind.

I think I contibet here aswell. A high heart isnt folding probably, but anyone without a heart is folding anyhow.
So:
1. they might not have a heart and fold
2. they might have a heart and if it doesnt hit then your AQ-high might still be best at showdown

I'd play it this way.
