The stars one seems to be fine to me as far as bringing up past action really quickly and viewing mucked cards.

HH are very imporatant starting out, go over matches you lost, and see where you lost alot of chips and why, maybe your overplaying your hands OOP, or your not value betting enough, or being able to lay down to strength. Maybe you have trouble against aggressive bettors, or passive guys that call everything. after you have played enough, you'll find little things here and there, and try to change just one of them and see if it works.

Please, give exact names of these quick hand analyzers(or links to them). Thank you. [/ QUOTE ] i think they are just talking about the one built into stars, for example. I mean he's just saying that its important to see mucked cards and stuff. Or is there more? |

I really like the HH viewer that FTP has, but I have just started playing HU SNGs on Stars. Is there a program that visually shows the table like Full Tilt, but for Stars?
Edit: I know this is a software forum question, but I figured I'd ask in a thread that was already going instead of starting a new one. |

Posting here for the same reasons RobTheDuck is, I just did some searching for anything that would take hand histories and allow you to visualize/replay them, looking for something more advanced than the FT HH viewer, which would actually let you animate through action, similar to the WPT academy stuff on their website.
Only thing I was able to find is PokerXFactor, and you have to subscribe to get something that will do multiple hands, and as far as I can tell, you have to submit the histories to their site even then. If anybody knows of anything that will do this, I'd be very interested, and it would probably save me some work, since if I can't find anything, I'm likely to write a quickie of my own. Dude, write a quickie!
I mean PTracker has one built in, but it's crappy. This would be great for all poker too, not just HU. I'm off to the software forums. I'll report back if I find anything | OR | if you guys find something for TNix and myself, post here. |

Just found this link:
Replayer Software v1.4 Can't check it out until later though, I'm at work. I searched "replayer" in the software forums for 1 year and came up with this and a couple other hits. |

I just downloaded that replayer, and...
OMG IT RULES. Perfect for reviewing hand histories, imports many different sites, gives chip graphs and such. Allows saving histories in a universal format for the player, that allows you to add comments to specific actions. Very cool. |

For the first time, i spent a few hours Saturday, and a few Sunday going over my HHs on this player.
Whoever gave us the link for it, thanks a lot. This thing is great. while using i already realized a few things i did wrong, and i saved all my losses and I'm going to watch all of them. Every single time i lose. It's a comfort when you realize you lost due to B.S. cards, but this tool combined with a hand calculator really helps me to understand the game better. I don't see how anyone could just read a hand history after using one of these replayer things. |
