Re: NL100 I just dont know how to play.
[ QUOTE ]
c/r the flop is pretty bad, everything you beat folds and only better hands call (for the most part). [/ QUOTE ]Yeah, but if villain has missed this flop completely (which he usually has) you often get a c-bet out of him, it's nice for meta game as it looks a lot like aggressive blind defense, and you can prevent overcards from drawing for free. Plus, I check/raise flops like this a lot with air . . . |

Re: NL100 I just dont know how to play.
I hate a flop cr, a lead is ok but not the best thing to do at all. flop is good, whole hand is good. its called pot control and inducing bluffs. the river is accually a call somtimes depending on villian.

Re: NL100 I just dont know how to play.
I think this hand is played fine, to be honest. Preflop is usually a raise but calling isnt bad and playing a small pot while youre OOP. Like DLM said: pot control. A flop c/r will bloat the pot when you have a vulnerable hand and are OOP. Also, the c/r will fold out all the hands youre beating.
Also, I definetly call the river. You've played it so passively that he can easily be trying to bluff you with any two. |
