Default What to Buy?

Which of the following is the best investment for someone who...
<ul type="square">[*]Used to beat the Party $55s before the shutdown[*]Bought SNGPT when it came out and is pretty comfortable with push/fold poker[*]Been away from STTs for awhile[/list]1. SNGWiz (for bubble training and limpers)
2. SNGIcons ($100 account setup fee?)
3. New 2+2 SnG book (WTF would I do until July and WhoTF is Colin?)
4. Curtians mysterious $100 chart (what the hell is this thing)
5. Get a SnG Coach (I did the Bob Ciaffone thing years ago)
6. Cardrunners (learn to pwn NL 6-max game)
7. Other?

SNGicons. the $100 buys you somewhere around 100 videos they already have (most are multi-tabling) and the $20 a month keeps them updating.

wow, sngicons is obviously the wrong choice.

if $100 is a large amount of money, none of the above.

if you just feel like purchasing a study aide for some reason, i'd recommend just not playing stts any more, and getting a cardrunners membership.

Why? Is it geared towards beginners?

$100 is not a lot of money. I would expect to pay much more for a SnG coach.

Sort of a strange reply, what you are implying in saying to ditch STTS? Regarding the $100 for a tool that's less than two buyins of the OP's old level.
To OP, go with sngicons, and I think they do some sort of bubble trainer bundle.
Good luck..

NYJ,

My "point" is that the best thing you can do is:

Not play stts any more.

The second best thing you can do is:

Consider how much you're going to play, and first consider if the various free resources you can find easilly might be the best thing for you to spend time on, before considering paying for anything at all.

Interesting point. I've been wondering about this. Lately I'm thinking this is higher EV than playing stts.

Given that you've got a green font in this forum can you expand upon why you believe this?

Because they suck and induce life tilt.

Actually none of the mods here play SNGs as their main game now, and haven't for a while as far as I'm aware.

edit - the bigger reason is that your hour rate potential is usually much higher at cash games. not that my other 2 points don't stand...
