Well, poker is no more dead than real estate or high-tech stocks. Like those industries, it is just at a point in a cycle.

MTTR- hang in there.

I think a lot of the reason you are getting crushed in the Sklansky Bucks department is from your SH6M play. I used to play SNGs and I know the pain of constantly losing coin-flips and races where you are a 60/70/80% favorite. It gets really, really frustrating. How much (Sklansky Bucks)are you up/down for the year?

Wow, yeah thats crazy ridiculous to be owed 17 buyins in S-bucks in one day! I thought it bad when I was owed that in close to 70k hands but then by the time I was up to about 80k it was up to 24 and then in the last two days playing for the new bonus on pokerstars I'm owed another 3.

But then there was another database when I first started this year with prolly about 20k hands where I also played a little 50NL and I'm sure I was owed at least 7-8 buyins there too. So in total probably close to 35 or so over 100k hands. Welcome to no limit herss your ass sir lol, and I came over to cash games to get away from the variance in donkaments where like pokerboy said losing every coinflip/60/70/80% for like 1400 of those bastards!

Is it me, or on stars, does about half of sets made on the flop also have a monotone flop?

It's getting on my nerves.

This is true except its more like 75% of the time and the other 25% its 3 to a straight.

Yeah, because the 10,000 real money cash game players on Stars at any given time proves this.

Good point.

I'm at 84k. Trying to play as much as possible during the promotion to get supernova soon. Unfortunately it's not the best week for me due to work etc. so it will probably take me another month or so.

btw, i'm sure this has been discussed, but when you reach supernova what's the best value for spending points. Do you just do the 100k for $1,500 or something else. I assume you could get bestbuy or walmart gift cards from the consierge service? This might be beneficial for tax reasons etc.
