Default Tough Bubble Situation

What's your calling range if you are in SB & I am pushing(without looking)? What should my shoving range be if you are in the SB? BB is calling VERY tight. In this situation, we both know each other.

This is a very good post and it's too late for me to think too deeply into this but for me this has to be very read dependent. Have others been aggressive lately? If so fold. If the table has been somewhat tight, push it. I know you want an answer based on stacks but my thought is it's close without reads and they mean everything here.

If totally devoid of reads I push on the button. I like aggression.

I'd call tight, I think way too tight. I'm maybe way off with this guess but around 44, A8, KJ. I don't think I would think you're shoving crazy wide so I really wouldn't think about calling with what I would see as maybe marginal hands that hard, I'd just fold and keep shoving. If you were someone who I'd know is shoving 100% here and you had an ugly avatar I'd probably call lighter, partly out of spite but also cos I think my default is way too tight and I could call a lot wider. So probably I would think I'm making a spite call but really it would be a hugely +EV call. And also calling and losing isn't that big of a deal.

I'm pretty sure against me in the SB and a tightie in the BB you could/should shove 100% easily. I think I shove way too tight on the button here myself and that's why my calling range in the SB is so tight too. And also I don't really care about hands where a small stack pushes when I'm the chipleader.

I'll call your ass with Q2o and say my Bubble BIATCH!

Honestly I usually call this fairly tight, I'm in no hurry to bust the bubble, but if I suspect button has realized this and starts pushing anything I'll open up and spite call him at times.

As you know both pushing and calling ranges are very read dependent here.

I'm calling wide against a known 16'er w/ high steal stats. Something like top 25-30%. Critical steal spot for you that could definitely be any 2. Plus spite calls are fun.

I'm probably not pushing trash here in your spot, but I'm pushing a huge range because this appears to be the best spot for a steal.

Yeah but does the avg $16 player know this? If no, does the fact that he DOESNT know this make a difference? Sometimes I think their thought process might be 'I have a chance to knock a guy out here and make it to the money.' I shove very wide in this spot at the 22s, and Ive seen some very loose/suprising calls from big stacks in the past
