Re: The Greatest Movie Sub-Genre: Zombie Flicks
[ QUOTE ]
The greatest zombie movie ever was THE QUICK AND THE UNDEAD. Spaghetti Western meets zombie flick...... AWESWOME [/ QUOTE ] The quick and the undead is also the first instance of someone gradually building up an immunity to the bites that turns people into zombies. Imagine wesley from the princess bride and what he did with the iocane powder |

No love for the 1968 classic Night of the Living Dead? I'm not even a fan of the genre. But this movie is tremendous. [/ QUOTE ] this was going to be my point as well, but I suspect it doesn't actually qualify for the genre that it helped to create. Man, it sure is a great movie, though. |

Re: The Greatest Movie Sub-Genre: Zombie Flicks
Me and my friends have a "wtf to do when zombies take over" conversation at least once a week. Being Alabama, there's guns everywhere, so we go get some guns. Then we ride around in trucks blowing off zombie heads.
We also have the pussy solution, which is to go to some big department store (Wal-Mart's the closest one we have) and lock it up. Plenty of food, plus protection. They also have guns, so we don't have to be complete pussies. Also, DotD is terrible. I laughed through the whole movie. |

Re: The Greatest Movie Sub-Genre: Zombie Flicks
I love zombie movies but the last Resident Evil made me feel that I just licked the inside of a movie theater toilet bowl. It left me with this putrid taste in my mouth that was similar to runny feces from a man who subsists on a diet of Cheetoes and expired milk mixed with testicle sweat. Given that I'd probably watch it again once TBS gets the rights to air on cable.

Re: The Greatest Movie Sub-Genre: Zombie Flicks
For me it's:
1. Dawn of the Dead 1978 2. Night of the Living Dead 3. Dead-Alive (Greatest zombie killing weapon ever with the lawn mower and Peter Jackson at his finest) 4. Dawn of the Dead 2004 5. Day of the Dead (Savini is a freak) |

Re: The Greatest Movie Sub-Genre: Zombie Flicks
Hi guys, I am back from my holiday!
I think that Resident Evil 1/2 were enjoyable movies. Probably because the Milla Jovovich is quite nice to look at. GAME LINK http://www.urbandead.com |
