I sometimes 3-bet and sometimes call the flop/lead the turn, but I often have to give up the hand when I meet resistance. How do you proceed ? |

Call this. Check the turn, evaluate from there. Min raises sometimes are a way for players to assure that they get more money in the pot but they dont want to blow you out of the hand when they know they're probably ahead. I would fold to a big turn bet, but bet the river with a turn check.

I dont agree wrkingtobegreat, I think this is usually a flushdraw/Jx to find out where they stand. Ill just repop this to 30 and fold to a shove unless I know villain is capable of shoving lone flushdraws, or else your toast.

When I 3-bet, do I HAVE to call a push since the FD is a major part of an unknown range ? Do you sometimes fold even after investing a big part of your stack ?

[ QUOTE ] call and lead on a non-heart? [/ QUOTE ] Care to explain this line is better than 3-bet flop/fold to a shove? [/ QUOTE ] Because lots of players are very capable of shoving a flush draw or straight draw. And I very much dislike bloating the pot OOP with one pair. Especially if he flat calls and an overcard+ flush card hits. |

you can comfortably felt this in this spot. this is so often a worse jack, and idiots will felt it with you here. i think best line is usually to 3bet and call a shove, or 3bet and shove turn if he just calls.
