Re: Fold the Rockets
I would reraise flop. He might have a flush draw here and you have to make him pay for it. Check fold turn - no way.
Alternative way is to call and then check call it to the end but I don't like it because you give a free card if he has a draw. I would not be afraid to get it all in here on the flop. |

Re: Fold the Rockets
I think this hand is fine. Though i would possibly consider re-raising on the flop.

Re: Fold the Rockets
Hm. I like the defense against the possible semi-bluff/freecard-raise. If you reraise, you commit yourself. The pot is too small to push, otoh. So I think it's good to donk a safe turn. When he raises again, he pretty much says that he can beat one pair. And unless he is a maniac, this is a good fold, imo.

Re: Fold the Rockets
Although it's tempting to reraise the flop you would be bloating the pot out of position and forced to bet into any card on the turn thus commiting your stack to one pair. Calling the flop reraise and donking the turn to avoid giving free cards/ folding to a reraise is a much better play.
