hasn't it been like this for years? Except Detroit who did great a few years, I think the last time a consistent threat to the title has come from the East, a certain MJ was playing for them.

Whoever wins the West will obviously be the favorite but Miami showed last year that anything is possible.

Toronto will beat either NJ or Washington in the first round, no question. Washington is arguably the worst team in the playoffs without Butler & Arenas, and NJ faces serious matchup problems with Toronto (mainly Bosh).

After that, it's hard to get a good picture of what will happen in the East. Detroit would be the favorites but Miami are obviously still a huge threat along with Cleveland, Toronto or Chicago.

It looks like NJ will beat NY tonight so we will very likely face them in the 1st round.
