Default Heads up, A2 suited....

3/6 No limit Hold'em. The table broke up awhile ago and I am playing one of the regulars (29/16/2.4) (that always seems to get the best of me but I know that I should beat him...) heads up. Effective stacks=$600

Hero makes it $21 on the button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Villian calls.

Flop: ($42) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villian checks, Hero bets $32, Villian calls. (I am putting him on an ace or a ten here)

Turn ($106) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Villian checks, Hero bets $95, Villian checkraises to $200, Hero pushes????

Is this just awful or standard? Villian tends to bluff alot I feel against me. He floats alot, he respects me a little but not much really because I've made some awful plays against him in the past and also he runs like GOD against me.

based on your read, it may be more profitable to call and let him bluff the river.

Nope, unless he flat calls TT before the flop. You only lose to AT/A8.

I like a flatcall here, ESPECIALY if he floats a lot. Since he probably knows that you know he floats a lot, he could valueshove like 8T on the river here, as well as bluff-shove this river. He might have A8, which is what I'm kinda worried about here. Shoving is ok, but I sorta like calling. IMO, only T or 8 are bad cards; any other card jus go into calldown mode... by flatcalling here you get value from hands you also beat that might fold to the turn shove.

Well you guys guessed it, he had A8. I pushed the turn to his minraise and got it all in on the turn. Higher two pair, thanks for all the responses.

Yup this is a push. You are up a weaker two pair here a lot.

Kidding, right? Only two pair we beat is T8.

But i can see quite a few combo draws/good ace who'd play it like he did.

I think OP played it fine too. HU this hand is really powerful.
