NL200 -- Turn play -- flush + gut shot draw
I had played one other hand against Villain when he called me on two streets and I folded on the river with a weak top pair when all the draws came in.
Looking back I like a turn check-raise all-in. Do you agree? What now given how it was played? Re: NL200 -- Turn play -- flush + gut shot draw
I definitely think leading the turn is not your best option.
I'm not sure whether I like c/c or c/r on turn though. Do you have stats on villain? |

Re: NL200 -- Turn play -- flush + gut shot draw
Preflpo is meh. I'd just fold it on a loose table or if you're not sure how it's playing yet. Checking the turn is a most IMO and then calling or raising are both fine depending on a few things.

Re: NL200 -- Turn play -- flush + gut shot draw
I think you played this hand fine so far. i think this becomes a pure math problem...villan has like $80 behind i think. i'm horrible at math/ranges/equity so i'll leave that for someone else.
if i were to continue, i would call and either c/f the river if nothing hits or open shove if i do get there. i also dont really like a c/r as much, its okay sometimes, but i prefer double barreling here. |

Re: NL200 -- Turn play -- flush + gut shot draw
I would fold now, but i play it the same as you did, nh. (sometimes i go for the spite turn call, but i think thats probably bad)

I think its a fold now. If villain is good, check-raise turn. If he is bad, bet-fold.

Re: NL200 -- Turn play -- flush + gut shot draw
I play the same and fold turn. Looks like you're barely getting the implied odds you need and sometimes he'll show up with a bigger flush or even a 9 if you hit your gutshot. And FWIW, I prefer using the stack-a-donk line with real hands the first time, then using it with bluffs/semibluffs after he's seen me do it with a real hand.
