Put the kibosh on quads w/ a royal, then accidentally slow-rolled it..
I didn't mean to, but here's how it went down.
NLHE $20 buy-in, 3 places pay, @22 entrants around hand 20-25, this pot comes up: "Bob" in big blind for BB (50 chips) "Jane" in 4th pos. raises for about 250 total I call in 8th pos. at 9-seat table (two tables total) I hold: As-Qs Flop: Ks-Js-Tc "Bob" checks, "Jane" bets around 500 units/chips, I call w/ Broadway. Action back to "Bob" who folds. Turn: Ts I practically crap my pants at this point but keep my poker face steady. "Jane" bets right out, around 1K. I smooth-call (might have reraised here if I'd known what she had). River: Blank (9c, if memory serves). "Jane" moves in for about 2.5K more. I call. "Jane" flips over: Td-Th She starts to pull the pot toward her. I am in slight shock (only been playing hold'em for a few months at this point, first time I ever got a Straight Flush, understand) and then FINALLY flip over my As-Qs and start raking in the chips closest to me. Kinda funny, she runs over to the other table where her boyfriend is sitting and confirms with him which hand beats which. I kinda felt sorry for the girl, but then again, that's poker.

OMFGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG i'm at work crying laughing so hard. every line i have read in this thread has made me laugh harder and harder. "moonwalk" infront of the boyfriend. LOL
