So you're not playing anymore now? If you are playing (lets say on stars), why can't you have them send you a check? I read your post twice and it kind of indicates that you're busto but not entirely

You didn't read the post, and you are retarded

[/ QUOTE ]

Learn how to spell "money" before you call people retarded. Also, leaving your "momey" on some skin instead of an interest bearing savings account is so smart. You worthless POS, go die.

BEAT: Accountant just shipped back the tax forms.

BIGGER BEAT: I owe $33k for 2006.

BIGGEST BEAT: The money is going to people who want to throw me in prison (i.e. sentence me to death, thanks prison rape and AIDS) for being a pot-smoking atheist gambler, and said money is also being used to fight a war I don't support, and enforce laws that threaten my very livelihood. The government as it is now is no better than the [censored] mafia, except the mafia has less pretense.

I'd rather make the occasional typo than have the reading comprehension skills of a 3rd grader.

And btw, all poker players keep lots of money in non-interest bearing accts, its called a bankroll, [censored].

Deductions don't come off of what you owe the IRS, they come off of your taxable income. I'm not sure but I think that something like your fist $20K of earnings is untaxed, and only what you earn after that is taxed. Just a guess though. Also, you might not need to file at all. The bank only reports checks deposits of $10K+ to the IRS, so if you deposited less than $10K per check, you are good.

From HighStakesPro this is the worst advice I've ever seen.

T Nasty,

You can set up a payment plan with the IRS if you owe but don't have the funds. I would not under report or just not file. File honestly and set up a payment plan. You probably want to get an accountant because you may be able to write off the money you have locked up on line as lost for next years taxes, but there may be some technicalities, so a proffessional oppinion would be a real good idea.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks, this sounds like its probably the way to go. I guess being in debt is better than being in jail.
