Re: Hellmuth loses $536k in one night of Chinese to Ivey
I remember Phil said in an interview a year or two ago that his goal was to have a $100 million net worth. He went on to say tht with all his business ventures (DVDs, books, speaking engagements, Full-Tilt, etc) he considered it easily attainable.

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Phil still has a mortgage to pay off. If he is worth millions, why hasn't he paid it off earlier? Do rich people have mortgages? lol, i, apparently have no idea about real estate, so feel free to laugh. [/ QUOTE ] NOT lol. Why he would have a mortgage on his house when he says he has $20 million is beyond me. And as far as rich people having a mortgage for the tax deduction? This is false. Paying huge amounts of interest is not smart; the deduction you receive is just a discount, or a rebate. [/ QUOTE ] Its not just for the tax deduction. You invest the money you would have used to pay off your mortgage. Even with conservative investments, its a better return on your money. [/ QUOTE ] like playing cash games with Phil Ivey? |

The extra points are called royalties and different players sometmies assign different values to them, full houses in the middle and quads, straight flushs etc in the back. Let it also be noted that if two people have a good understanding of the game, the biggest edge that can be excahnged is like 5%, although the variance is absolutely enourmous.
