Default [300nl] Live with set vs. TAG.

Relevant reads: UTG is a good, live young rounder who I see consistantly in games around my university city. He drinks an ass-tonne, however when drinking. Earlier he flopped middle set with JJ, led a Q high flop and the turn/river went check-check after a flush draw completed on the turn vs. a weak-tight older lady who had AQ. He spews hard in MTTs, but that isn't really relevant. We usually stay out of each others way. He says he "respects my game".

He limps, as do two others, I make it 14 OTB with 66.

He calls, others fold. I have ~470, he covers.

Pot: ~32

Flop: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

He checks, I bet 27, he calls.

Pot: ~86

Turn: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

He checks again, I bet 80, he checks his cards, grins and calls. This may be irrelevant.

Pot: ~246

River K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

He leads for 80. Easy value shove?

Bet like 2/3 of pot on turn. As played, call is good.

Hi Speed,

Even with 2 FDs out there? That was my primary reason, along with helping to get more of our stacks in on the river.

If you push this river, you're never bluffing. What does he call you with?

IMO If this isnt a flush, its most def a blocker, so anything other than a call would be kinda spewish i think. I would love to here your thinkin here. If you must have trigger happy fingers I would believe minraise>push since minraises turns alots of B/F:s into B/C:s.

Turn bet is fine since its live.

I'd just call river.

This is a combo draw a lot: QdTd, 8d9d, etc.

Just call. He doesn't have an overpair and he's not calling you with AT...
