Ok, flame me on all streets, im wondering if my turn bet just sucks though, i didnt want to see a check behind and he has done that quite a few times after being over agg on the flop with marginal holdings.
I have solid reads on villan and he is running about 50% preflop, very aggressive, have seen him showdown a large range of hands from very quality to highly overplaying (basic 20/40 laaaaagg)

Your flop play looks super standard to me... On the turn, he might be afraid of that card and check behind (or he may be pumping a draw anyway), so I like betting out here to guarantee bets going in, especially as you've seen him check behind after capping the flop previously.

When the other guy folds and he raises, it all depends on how bad/overaggressive he is. Would he raise Q9 after you lead after his flop cap? 97? There are only 6 hands that beat you here, so if 97/Q7/Q9/Ac9c and maybe some AcXc hands are enough of his range, you could 3-bet the turn.

If you just called the turn and check called the river, there's no way you spewed bets in this hand.

thanks, after getting raised on the turn, i really started to hate my AQ...i mean hes dumb and over agg, but after capping the flop and getting raised on the turn my stomach started to turn a little bit.

If he'll play just a draw like this sometimes then I like a river c/r. In fact, I'd be thinking about c/r'ing the river if this guy had any tendency of getting out of line at all.

Hmm... lets see 77, 99. I would expect to be beat here a fair amount of times vs a decent player.

yeah if you can put him on QQ or 77 or 99 then i think this is a hand you should lose money on... if you put 3 in on the turn and get it capped then check call on the river. Just dont think you can put a guy on a set and think you are behind.
