Mason Malmuth once responded to one of my posts in the strategy forum by asking if I was the "type of player who is always seeing monsters under the bed."

It made me loosen up considerably, make more moves, and go busto much faster.

I recently told a story about having breakfast with Jason Bonham like 16 years ago. Turns out Bonham's first record was the first album DaveR ever purchased. This was during the time Tuq was bitterly complaining about TheDaveR never responding his posts. (Tug has like 3 or 4 times the amount of posts as me in about half the registration time.)

As a poster who is generally riding the bench, I kinda got a kick out of that one.

You'll have to do the digging on that one. I think the thread was titled "My Ego is Stunting My Win Rate" or something similiar. (I started the thread) It was in the psych forum. Probably summer or fall of '05.
