I would have called if the river had paired but I can't see him having 2 pair more often than a set. (and iI lose a lot of the time its not the 2 that pairs.)

he would have to cold call in early position with two very weak cards and he wasn't that loose (though you can't know that), far more likely he had a pocket pair.

I think it's good until the river when you fold, which is really terrible IMO as long as we still beat TT-QQ, split with KK, and the pot is so big.

On second thought I just peel the turn. I want to see a showdown pretty bad (or a river at the very least) and our hand is really not that vulnerable versus hand ranges.
