Like Dids said, google does it. I'm sure some other progressive bay area outfits do, too.

Seems sorta wack to me. I could get down with an office dog or cat. But people who talk to their email and whatnot already drive me up the wall.. if they all brought dogs in it could get kinda hectic.

Id write an anonymous letter to the boss, dogs do not for any reason (except seeing eye), belong in the workplace. This isnt "progressive", it's stupid and disruptive. You should have the right to go home not smelling like a farm.

I see two easy solutions.

Make the dog so scared of you that every time it sees you it pisses all over the place.

Or get one of those whistles that drives dogs crazy.

All,

Bringing pets into the office became really popular out here in the dot-com boom. I think it's one of the most idiotic "progressive workplace" policies ever.
