I wrote Howard about this and it wouldn't hurt others to do the same. I don't see any need to mention 2+2.

Is it a great idea to align poker with one of the most abhorred people in conservative politics? I think we'd drum up more support from the right with the Disabled John can't make it to the casino angle than Howard Stern had a show about it last week.

We're not in a position to be particularly choosy and he does have a platform that reaches the entire nation.

Fwiw, he's an avid online chess player.

This guy is on to something...

We must be choosy now more than ever. Howard Stern is probably the last person we should want as our frontman. Stern takes away all credibility and seriousness as far as the average American is concerned.

One of the reasons Congress passed this bill was because it was a bill that Jack Abramhoff lobbied hard against and Congress thought that passing it would show the American people that the days of the powerful super lobbyists getting whatever they want is over. All that being said, having Howard Stern in our corner would be worse than having Jack Abramhoff.

Dude, relax. D'amato is our front man.

We're talking about an interview with D'amato that will reach millions.

An interview, that's it.

As a matter of fact, back when Stern was on free radio, he used to have D'amato on as a guest and they would talk about the home poker games they would play with each other in Long Island.

NVM it's just an interview. From reading the thread before the article it seemed like Stern was taking up the poker battle.

If you go to the tech section and look for the article, there is an audio story with D'Amato linked there in addition to the print article.

I apologize, I didn't know you were talking about an interview with D'Amato. I just thought you wanted Stern to spearhead the cause. A D'Amato interview on Stern's show would be a great idea.

I apologize for coming across in a harsh manner.
