200nl ATs two pair facing shove
Villain is an unknown and I have been at this table for only about 15 hands. I don't even have any hud stats at this point, but he has been limping a lot and seems generally bad.

Fold against an unknown. At least that's what somebody told me a couple days ago. Maybe things have changed.

More on flop, more on turn, fold river.

Re: 200nl ATs two pair facing shove
That's harsh, I think it's a fold. Overbet shoves on the river are generally teh nutz in these games. I'd be more inclined to call if the river was something like 9h

Re: 200nl ATs two pair facing shove
This flop lead is usually a big hand that doesn't want to be checked through. Therefore, I would fold.

Re: 200nl ATs two pair facing shove
I think one of the biggest problems I have is with bet sizing. I usually just go with 60-75% as a standard but I always see so many of you advocating 80% or more...
I used to believe that you always had to make the same sized cbet, but I am really starting to think that robotic style is crap. I think that you should vary your cbet size, and frequency based on your hand and your opponent's tendencies. Against a particular player I think you should probably make a different sized bet with AK vs 88 on a T32 flop for example, but I don't really know what is optimal or how to figure it out. (sorry for rambling) |
