Re: Valet Tipping
if you go to the bike and they ask you if you want it close and you say yes you will be rudely asked for a tip right then. i park it in the back and walk now.
all other places $2-$5 is ok unless you feel like you had exceptional service. |

If you really had a great time, won a ton, or are in a good mood, we will gladly accept more. [/ QUOTE ] This sounds made up. |

Re: Valet Tipping
[ QUOTE ]
The industry standard is $1-2 on drop off and $2-$3 on pick up. [/ QUOTE ] Really? At Bellagio (only place I valet, I dont want people in my car) I tip $3-5 onthe way out only, I dont tip on the way in anymore. Is that wrong? TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

Re: Valet Tipping
[ QUOTE ]
If you ask to keep your car "up front", give the runner at least $10 right there and at least another $10 on the way out. [/ QUOTE ] its obviously a different animal here at the detroit casinos, but i find that $5 ($10 if it's busy) on the way out only will move my keys immediately to the front of the line. it never gets old either, i drive with a smile on my face for the next 20 minutes every time. |

Re: Valet Tipping
If I'm driving the Lexus typically $3/$3. If I'm driving the Prius $2/2. If I get the car really fast on pickup, $5.
There is nothing worse than waiting 30 minutes to get a car, so I'm happy to pay more when I get it back fast. On that note Caesars Valets are usually amazingly fast. I've had a car back in 3 minutes on more than one occasion. |
