Re: two pair...dump it to turn push???
i think this is a fold. unless we have some previous hand where he semibluffed the turn with a big draw. hes not doing this with aq or kq

I would fold this too.Of course if he is good he might do this with a draw.

You should pot the flop here.
Turn fold is good. |

Re: two pair...dump it to turn push???
with this many opponents to the flop i would bet between $14 and pot to define my hand a bit better and to charge the drawers.
On the turn as played i think that a $28 bet would be about my standard and fold to the raise. I dont hate your turn bet, but i guess even at these levels its small enough to induce a semi-bluff CR. I think i could go either way on this one. The real beauty of the bigger flop bet is that it helps weed out the bigger hands faster, thus possibly saving your stack. It also reduces the likelihood of someone making a move on you. You have yourself in a bit of a bind here because to the fairly primitive player your bets could easily look like weakness. He may try to act on this. If you did in fact have the nuts or a set (ie. a hand you personally were willing to go to the felt with) then i like your play a lot more. You seem to be viewing this hand like a standard top pair good kicker hand ie. you like it but dont love it. what would you do with that hand in this spot, for example AQ? If you would check behind maybe checking behind on the turn is good for you with this hand. Then you can call a river bet or value bet a blank if he checks again. |
