If Neteller is saying the best way to get money is to p2p transfer, are all the stories we are hearing of frozen accounts coincidental (i.e. other reasons for being frozen)?

From what I read on that other forum linked before, I would not be handling many or any of these requests even if I could.

Next thing you know, you will be chained up beside Dakbar and Habib in Guantamano Bay for funding terrorist activites for sending $1800 to a Pokerstars account.

ok 2 people in this thread have said that Netller told them the best way to get funds out is to do a peer-to- peer transfer to a non-american.

Can others confirm this?

I'm going to call VIP cs right now..I cant beleive this is the policy but things are changing so fast it's crazy..I hope this is true!

xxxxx: i'm not happy about leaving my money on neteller for god knows how long
Nathan: I do understand I wouldn't be pleased either. We don't have a time frame as a solution is still being worked on.
xxxxx: so this could be a week or 2 year?!
Nathan: I'm sorry to say yes

Someone needs to ask them why they can't just send a check drawn on whatever European bank they have the funds in. Maybe I'm not understanding something. Why wouldn't that work?

ok just called and peer-to peer transfers are not on the chopping block according to ronnie customer service rep. at Netller.

Both accounts must be certified. International accounts(non-American accounts like US or Canada) may need more documentaion then just banking authorization.

So I need to transfer funds to trustworthy canuck

$13K i'll pay 5% or $650

Don't try to do this.

My brother tried this (US Neteller > UK Neteller > Bro's Pstars > Brothers friend Pstars) for somebody for a relatively small amount. I think it was $1800.

Although the transfer went through, both Neteller accounts are now 'suspended pending further investigation'.

Just an update on this. Our kid just spoke to someone from Neteller, they asked him a couple of security questions and both accounts have now been reinstated. They gave no reason why they were locked.

Good luck getting your money out dudes.
