Default Optimal Play w/AJs after Limpers?

Appears my Preflop raise was a tad light, but I don't much care for AJ when K/Q flops w/o an ace.

Seriously what is the point behind these posts. There are no reads or questions or explanations, just hand histories Really these posts are wastes of space.

You are looking at vilains with small pocket pair looking to hit a set. One of them did. Too bad for you since you also hit your jack...

How do you know someone hit a set?

OP, I think you played this hand fine. Except that you've got to raise a bit more preflop.

utz, i think u played it fine, i find that in these tourneys, people cant get away from a hand like QJ, J10 in this spot. They seem to think tpmk is the nuts.
If he hit his 2pr on the river, so be it.

Flop bet pretty much sucks as most people will think you have exactly what you have. Bet like 300 or something and get the rest in on turn/river.

How do I know someone hit a set. Combination of factors. First, too frequently hands posted here are hands that got people busted with... Second, the play from the other players are consistant with small pocket pair with the flat calls, I do not see AA or KK here (QQ is a remote possibility).

Hero played this OK. A bit of a bigger reraise pre-flop would have been better. Stevepa's line post flop seems optimal to me.

i think it was played about as good as possible, no way your getting away from this hand in the nature of online shortstacked tourneys, most likely you got the best hand and will double up... If he got lucky with 2 pair on the river or a set so be it...

Raise more or limp preflop. Bet less on the flop.
