Default Casinos in Canada

Me and a few friends are thinking of going to Canada for the summer to play some live poker. We will be playing 5/10, 10/20 and hopefully 25/50 nl, aswell as those stakes in Pot Limit Omaha. Will there be that kind of action in Canada?

Also, any info/webpage on the big casinos there if any?

If you want good action you need to hit the casinos around the major cities, ie Toronto, Vancouver or Calgary. Really its TORONTO and then the other two. Toronto is the NYC of Canada so that's where the action is. If you want to play NL the games are in Niagara Falls in three casinos two on the Canadian side and one on the US. Fallsview has good action at 2/5 NL(plays similar to a 1/2). As for 25/50NL they only have that action on weekends or holidays. Other tier two cities have casinos but because the cities are equivalent of Scranton or dead cities like that the action is is similar ie they top out at 10/20 on weekends and 5/10 during the week. Those cities are Regina, Winnipeg and Halifax(there are others too). Anyway I hope it helps you out.

I would like to correct this and say Edmonton instead of Calgary. I am being a nit, but Edmonton has much better action than Calgary. We have 7 casinos with steady action.

Seriously though. If you are going to gamble in Canada Niagara is the casino region to hit.

http://www.casinocity.com/ca/provinces.html has a decent list.
