top two against aggression
Villain is 58/6/1.8 over nearly meaningless 20 hands.

Re: top two against aggression
Hero caps!
Ok, not caps but a raise at least. Make him pay. The guy seems maniac! |

Re: top two against aggression
I'm thinking villian is on A6, Q6s, or the dreaded 66. Hero calls the turn, and calls the river when SB bets.
My first post; did I get this right? |

Re: top two against aggression
what have you observed about villian over these 20 hands ...
has he been to showdown? he would seem to be pretty flipp'n aggro ... I'm at least raising the turn - if 3bet I would call down (I imagine some would cap and call if villian lead river) |

Re: top two against aggression
Welcome to the forum!
If villain is on A6 or Q6, I'm ahead by a large margin. In that case, I should clearly raise turn and river... |

Raise turn & go from there.

Re: top two against aggression
Raise again. I would cap a 3bet because I'm comfortable with 5 bets going in on the turn+river (I don't think he's checkraising the river).

Re: top two against aggression
grunch
You're behind AA, QQ, 66 (9 combos) Ahead of A6 (6 combos) Tie 4 combos Plus this guy looks laggy and maybe he'd cap flop with some other stuff, like any A. Plus I'm going to discount AA and QQ a because he didn't raise preflop. So you're ahead. Now I think it's just whether or not to take the high variance or the low variance approach. Former is raise+cap turn and river, latter is call down. Maybe in between is cap turn and call river. |

Re: top two against aggression
in position, i do not cap the flop, preferring to wait and raise the turn. call down to further aggression.

Re: top two against aggression
I guess I am more conservative than most; at least most of the people here. The spectre of 66 has me in this situation. After he bets out the turn, I'm calling and then calling the river. Sounds like the concensus so far is to fight agro with agro.
