My new G7 wireless mouse won\'t work
Everything seems to check except there is no light coming out from the laser spot at the bottom of the mouse. That seems rather odd.
I called (long distance not toll free (!) ) tech support and they were, of course, useless. The computer recognizes the device. Everything seems to check out except that there's no light coming from the bottom. The battery is charged and the mouse is on. The battery lights at the top are working. Just faulty? (Logitech is unbelievable if this is so) You would think a $129 mouse would, you know, work. Please let me know if you think I've forgotten something. Ryan |

Re: My new G7 wireless mouse won\'t work
You can't see any sort of visible light on mine, unlike a regular optical mouse.

Re: My new G7 wireless mouse won\'t work
Have you tried normal trouble-shooting trials, like plugging it into another USB port or another computer all together? What happened then?

Re: My new G7 wireless mouse won\'t work
I don't have another computer to plug it into, however, I did try plugging it into other USB ports and nothing good happened.
I took it back and exchanged it. The batteries are charging so hopefully this time it works. Is there anything I have to do with my other mouse first? Do I have to go into my computer and disconnect it somehow? Could that be the potential cause of the problem? Ryan |

Re: My new G7 wireless mouse won\'t work
Must have been faulty. New one works just fine.
Thanks anyways, Ryan |
